Westwing, the pioneer in online home and living retail, has been on an inspiring journey since its launch in 2011. Celebrated for curating exceptional design and lifestyle products, Westwing has become a symbol of beautiful living across Europe.
Embracing a new chapter, Westwing has partnered with Meiré und Meiré for a comprehensive rebranding, marking the first significant transformation in its visual identity since the company’s foundation.
This strategic reimagining introduces a sleek, refined logo that captures the essence of Westwing’s elegance and forward‒thinking approach. By incorporating a subtle wing motif, the design cleverly nods to the brand’s name and its commitment to elevating home aesthetics.
The rebranding extends to a harmonious revamp of typography and color schemes, where the iconic turquoise is thoughtfully updated and balanced with a fresh, vibrant palette.
These elements come together to create a brand identity that is not only cohesive and visually striking but also versatile, ensuring Westwing’s editorial‒style messaging resonates across diverse platforms and touchpoints.
“Live Beautiful” Campaign
With the unveiling of Westwing’s refreshed visual identity came the vibrant “Live Beautiful” Campaign, a celebration of life’s beauty as seen through the unique living spaces from Berlin to London. Central to the campaign is a dynamic use of imagery drawn from Westwing’s extensive catalog a vivid collage that converges into a single, captivating hero image. This approach highlights the concept of Westwing as a universe of inspiration, where every detail in the collage serves to emphasize the beauty and diversity of the brand’s offerings.

As Westwing embraced its new identity, it was crucial that the journey included every member of the team. Through townhalls and launch events, the excitement was shared, ensuring everyone was aligned and energized by the transformation. To bring the new brand to life internally, staff were gifted merchandise featuring the new logo, making the change tangible and fostering a sense of unity and pride in the new direction.
Additionally, Meiré und Meiré custom developed a digital brand hub, documenting the complete rebrand. It serves as a comprehensive styleguide, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints and further empowering the staff with the tools, templates and knowledge to apply and promote the refreshed identity effectively.
