J*GAST designs and manufactures kitchens. The collective consists of five industrial designers and cabinetmakers. Together, they have developed a new system: one that bridges the gap between bespoke carpentry kitchens and standardized industrial solutions. The core element of their concept is the patented frame structure. It enables individual design for all requirements and within any architectural challenge. Contemporary yet timeless: the reinvention of the fitted kitchen.
Meiré und Meiré developed the brand identity for the launch of the new kitchen brand, including colour code, imagery and tone of voice, among other things. The essence of the brand, rethinking standards, became the starting point of the web design. For this purpose, the mobile-first design was also transferred to the desktop version.
The result: an unconventional digital design language. And an interaction behaviour that breaks with conventions of desktop-based pages. Transitions, parallax and intuitive navigation provide a new experience.
With an innovative and unique corporate design, the brand was successfully launched in October 2021. Accompanied by an updated social media concept, the J*Gast website followed with the go live in December 21. The brand launch started with a first open table and the exclusive media cooperation with the German architecture magazine AD.
